「This is an older hotel, but still great! It kind of has a bed and breakfast feel with the country touches and home cooked breakfasts. The mismatched coffee mugs topped off the feel. Such a great value. We’ll stay here again when we’re in the area.」

「Very clean and pleasant; close to the Cahokia Mounds Historic Site and St. Louis isn't too far, either... and get this: at 5:30 in the evening they have a Happy Hour, which they call Kickback, with free food and drinks. Read that sentence again! After a long drive (over 400 miles for us), it was nice to relax and not even have to go out for dinner. Breakfast was also gratis, and very good, as well. 「After our first hotel booking flopped, we booked with Hampton Inn for a reasonable cost. Bad thing is we did not double check the address so we went to a different one! Thankfully the correct one is not that far. We got in, parked in front, receptionist was nice. Fast check in. We checked the pool and it has a hot tub too. 「I would give 5 star if wasn’t for the AC unit blow directly to my bed( can’t adjust), and the room doesn’t have a light but only a small table lamp. considering the price, 4 star should do it, they really keep it clean, very nice public area and kitchen, staff are very friendly. Even though they don’t provide breakfast, during weekends, they do have a lot of free fresh fruits, donuts, and good quality coffee.
