「When we got to the room and opened the door, there was a sour smell. The room wasn’t very big, and when we asked to change rooms, they told us there were none available. We ended up buying candles to get rid of the odor. Even though we opened the windows before every stay, the smell was still there. If you want housekeeping, you have to pay $75. 「The owner went over and above to make my stay a great one. I’m sad I only stayed one night. Places like this are the real jewels of the hotel world. Location is quiet. The motel was quiet. The shower was excellent- hot and plenty of water pressure. Nice firm comfy bed. So much charm and character」

「Very nice and modern room! Easy to check in and out and they were very responsive! Also very close to state street, we took the train and were able to walk to everything! I would definitely stay here again! 」
