「Had a very nice stay. The rooms were very nice. We had a beach view balcony room. The elevator and hallwayd could have been a little cleaner, and I found it hard to believe with the price of the rooms that they want to charge you for using a chair on the beach!!! Not cool!!! Other than that, everything was pretty good. 」

「Coastal Suites is a reasonably priced hotel in a busy section of Wilmington. My only complaint is about noise in the vending/ice machine area which is quite loud in my room which was next to this area. On Wednesday evening someone was talking on his phone. Early Thursday morning some taking a large amount of ice from the machine. This noise was quite disturbing.」

「I showed up on a bad day, long line, phones ringing off the hook, and the front staff handling it like a professional. 3 staff short, delays in getting rooms ready and doing everything she could , taking names and phone numbers to let everyone know as soon as they would be ready…… all with a smile. 」

「Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. Room was clean. Great water pressure and quick hot water, loved having the little kitchen area and coffee maker. You are just a few minutes walk to Market Street where there are several shops and restaurants. Our room was very spacious which is essential when you are traveling with your two "adult" children; the pull-out sofa bed was great, although it wasn't very comfortable (typical sleeper sofa). 「This is a great value for a beach front stay. No frills. Nothing fancy. But it was clean and quiet. The parking is limited to one car per room; When I called ahead to ask about a solution to brining two cars, the clerk simply said “well you’re just going to have to cancel” I said, “no ma’am, my problem solving skills are better than that” and realized there’s paid parking directly in front of the hotel for the general public-problem solved. I paid $30/day to park my car there.」
