The pool was very family friendly, staff there were great! outdoor music and food truck were nice on Saturday. those are the high points. rest of stay definitely, not 5 star
Overall, it looks like the hotel owner is trying to thrift all operations and maint. and the operator, Fairmont, is along for the ride. It made for a disappointing experience. Facilities are in big need of exterior maintenance. large rust stains on main building from the pool view and peeling paint on all the wood windows.
Our room was a premium double queen w fireplace. the room was pie shape 9' wide at the windows, 15' at the door, really long so it had poor natural light. Sleeping room was updated, but the bathroom tub shower and tile nauseatingly busy and very poor quality, it was not renovated with the rest of the room. TP was like motel 6.
Sante', the restaurant, had poor service at dinner and the food was sub par. My coffee at breakfast was $6 for a 12 oz cup. Boo.
