The staff is extra helpful and I appreciated the welcoming ceremony upon arrival. However, the area isn’t the safest (compared to the previous hotel I stayed at about 10-15 mins away) because my kids and I were advised to “be back before dark” when we walked to nearby Carls Jr. for dinner one evening. 「This is a very well operated Hotel. Easy access to all Tulum has to offer without the inconvenience of the beach road Hotels. I have stayed in most of the 4 to 5 star Hotels in Tulum over the past 20 years and prefer the Aloft. Its a very friendly Hotel that you can really enjoy with all the restaurants and shops within walking distance. I will be returning to Tulum again shortly and will again stay at the Aloft .」
