「Great hotel. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff and there seemed to always be someone cleaning the lobby. The free breakfast had an excellent selection of hot and cold offerings (baked goods, make your own waffle, cereals, etc) and a different egg, meat and potato dish each day. The room was spacious and comfortable and had body wash, shampoo, moisturizer, which I appreciated because I forgot to pack my body wash! Nice indoor pool and small gym. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...

「The hotel was okay. However, the property is a little dated. Also, I didn’t have a sitting chair in the room. Finally, and I have never experienced this before; but there were no cups in the room!」

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. 「The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. The TV produced a message stating that the streaming contract was expired so...

「The property was very outdated and very unclean. We needed a place to stay for the night and it was the only place available last minute. It worked for what we needed but I would not necessarily recommend this place to anyone I care about. The room smelled like smoke though it was a non-smoking room. The air conditioner worked well. There was hot water, but it took a very long time to get warm.」

「Overall my stay was OK. Upon arrival I was not able to check in on time because my room was not available due to hotel being reserved to capacity, which caused me to have a 1 hr delay in check in. The hotel receptionist (Urania)was somewhat pleasant however, made some remarks that my particular room wasn’t ready because I had to wait for a handicap room, I stated I did not book a handicap room. Then, she stated that since I booked via Expedia that, I have the cheapest room, so I had to wait for...

「Loved the location. Bearing able to walk to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast wasn’t much and the staff in there wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. The hotel overall just needs some updates and upkeep. Starting to look run down, but so was the visitor center.」

「Maybe a better choice out of the surrounding hotels but definitely didn't feel like it was as great as most of the reviewers have mentioned. The front lobby appears nice and the staff were very friendly. However, although they maybe had some renovations, rooms still felt a little outdated and small. The bathrooms were small and you could definitely see the wear and tear on the ceiling of the shower and the shower head was very low for a standard bathroom shower. But what I really had an issue...

「We enjoyed our stay at Aldrich House in early June. It was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking distance of the historic area of Williamsburg. Tom was friendly and helpful and I can warmly recommend this accommodation.」

「The foyer was clean and staff friendly, but that was it. Out towels were dirty, hair and dirt on one. We had to move to 1 bed because to spiders. But then I woke with a bug crawling on me and we left in the middle of the night. Rugs and walls in hallways need lots of repairs! Everything looks old and worn except the3 foyer area. Would NOT stay here.」

「It's very close to Colonial Williamsburg, the area seems very safe, the room was large with the little porch area & a bench to sit on. We stayed four nights, they don't offer room service you set your trash outside ,they come and get it , you take your wet towels to the office, which I don't mind at all, what I do mind is the gentleman working there is so unprofessional .」
