「Everything was so bad ,from staff to amenities!」

「Good sized room, very centrally located next to shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel is a little dated but it was very clean. The staff were all lovely and really make you feel welcomed.」

「Clean single room for an overnight stay, the hotel is literally opposite the railway station and Piece Hall and town centre are a short walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with some tic perhaps, but the rates are very reasonable and the bed was comfortable. Some rooms face a busy road so some traffic noise, but not too bad. Would stay again.」

「Continental breakfast was good and staff were very helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated, stayed in a double room on the ground floor. And they do need to dust the furniture in the room. Bathroom was modern looking and clean like it had a refurbishment. Staying on the ground floor was a bit noisy at times with doors closing etc and hearing the bar and staff entrance door opening and closing. Overall good values for money and nice to have Co-op and Tesco nearby. Plus the Italian restaurant...

「The hotel is lovely and well situated. We had a suite which can accommodate a family of 5. The pool was nice and clean (but water was a little on the cooler side). There were floats and noodles the kids could use as aids. The gym and sauna are nice but we didn’t get to use them. The room service menu is good and well ranging. Not many staff on reception at check out.」

「Rooms need upgrading on the 2nd floor. We arrived 1pm. Check in normally 2pm. Reception wanted £10 extra for each room for an early check in. PARKING EASY £4 PER NIGHT 」

「Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. 」

「The apartment was lovely and spacious and very well equipped. The bed was very comfy and the furniture in the apartment was of a very good standard. We made full use of the welcome pack. The booking in procedure was easy to understand and Haley explained everything very well. The parking was good and very safe.」
