「Don't go off the pictures on the website It's like stepping in to a room in the 70s that's not been upgraded Furniture tired full of chips and scratched paint , chair flimsy and wobbly light fitting broke , pillows flatter than a pancake and housekeeping non-existent.」

「Excellent hotel, excellent room, excellent staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Only (very minor) negative was no scrambled egg option on an otherwise top-notch breakfast, but that's just me. Would definitely stay again.」

「Moved from the bull to the shepherds rest as an upgrade prior to arrival. Out of 4 rooms (party of 4), rooms 10 and room 4 no heating. The bull may have better but I’d avoid the shepherds rest. Also none of the TVs worked in any of the 4 rooms and Wi-Fi password not shared. A shame as the rooms were fine even if the showers are a little small. Place was clean and obviously has been invested in. 」

「Food was great and bar was well kept. Bed was comfy so comfortable in fact I overslept! Such a good find, not overly pretentious just good quality, helpful staff and good food. Perfect for a business stop over. WiFi was also reliable.」

「Very poor upkeep of building and rooms. Room was unclean and very dilapidated. Paid £9 for breakfast which was a tiny plate of mini muffins and mini croissants to choose from. Drinks machine with only tea cups available which meant the contents ran out into the machine and spilled over. Would definitely not recommend staying here.」

「Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was so cosy, clean & well looked after. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, they made us feel very at home and were very attentive throughout our time. Great location and a short 5 minute drive to Haworth. Highly recommend using this host and also their property. Thanks for a great stay 」
