「This hotel was in a great location with underground parking that was very convenient.The property was pretty but I can’t say the same for the room. It was clean but dark and dated. There were few outlets and the lamps gave off very little light. If you are located facing the courtyard then you can’t open your curtains because of people walking by in that outside walkway. It felt a little like a motel. But for one night it was convenient and clean and a lot less expensive than many others.」

「I travel extensively and don’t normally write hotel reviews. But this time I feel compelled to do so because I feel like this hotel is vastly over-rated (as it is, at best, a 3-star rather than 4-star as listed) and over-priced. The issues were numerous—none of which individually is a big deal, but none of which I would normally see in a 4-star hotel, and one of which is unacceptable at any hotel of any level. The latter is the fact that I found a long black hair on the bottom sheet of my bed...

「Pleasant quirky stay, Had to connect the tv to property internet myself. Terrific sitting area just outside our room. Great mattress. Bathroom could use an update. (I’m sure they're working on it) Very clean room, property is well cared for.」

「This is a historic hotel, so I give it credit for its age and charm however, neither the in room refrigerator and safe drinking d not work. I had to call the front desk to have a maintenance engineer replace them. And on that note the pool tile was dirty and the hot tub had no heat. I asked the maintenance engineer if he was aware the hot tub was not heating and he said “yes, the pump is broken “. Part of the hotel experience (and cost) is being able to use the amenities.
