"This is a lovely place. You step out onto the beach from the tiki bar and pool. Staff was very helpful. There’s a restaurant on site and was very good. The only thing I would recommend is if you can stay on the 2nd floor, there isn’t much in the way of sound proofing between the floors. You could even hear the suitcase rollers from above, every foot step and if furniture is moved… "

"Ocean was only slightly visible from a sliver on one side of the building directly in front of us. Room was good sized and had a full grit, range, and some dishes/cutlery, but was otherwise furnished adequately but not luxuriously. Could have used a couch or more comfortable chairs."

It would have been even better if greater attention had been given to environmental sustainability—for example, providing recycling options in the rooms and avoiding plastic straws, cups, and cutlery at the pool restaurant. "Our stay at Seahorse Cottages was absolutely perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bed had high quality sheets and the mattress was very comfortable. The grounds around the cottages were attractive and well kept. We loved having two porches as options for spending time outside. One was sunny and one was shady. The pool was adorable and had plenty of seating options. It was nice to come back from the beach and lounge by the pool. The beach was within walking distance and my husband and I enjoyed walking to the lighthouse from the closest beach access. If you didn’t want to walk, the Seahorse Cottages provided great bikes to use. There are two good eating establishments close to the cottages. One is within easy walking distance. The big bonus was the ice cream shop also within walking distance. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Seahorse Cottages and I really hope we will be returning in the future! "
