I was very pleased to be back in Fort Myers. I’ve stayed at GullWing before, and it’s always been a nice and quiet area—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool and beach are conveniently close, and the atmosphere is very family-oriented. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Our unit was so nice, the property was beautiful and seemed as though it was brand new. We also loved the beach! The locals in the area are amazing and we learned so much on this trip! The seashells along with the sea life you get to see while on the beach is amazing and honestly a once in a lifetime experience!

We loved the property, but I didn’t know the property was under construction. The pool view with the construction is not the best view. Aside from that everything was amazing. The apartment was so clean and comfortable.

The beach was expansive and the unit was newly renovated. The resort is in the quieter end of the beach and so it was a slow drive to get to Fort Myers’ restaurants but we knew that when we booked. Bicycles are available and are the quickest way to get around. My family really enjoyed our stay in our 2 bed/2 bath unit!

Great location on the beach. Has a pool and hot tub along with a full kitchen so you can prep your own meals and save money. The staff was amazing!! We will definitely stay there again when we're in Ft. Meyer's.

Everything was prepared nicely and clean. There was some construction around the resort, but it did not interfere with our rest/stay in any way. It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, a warm pool nearby, and also a spa. In the apartment all electrical devices worked and everything necessary for normal living was provided.

The website doesn’t do the rooms justice. The suites are top notch and the location is absolutely perfect. The staff both before our check in and during our stay were friendly and helpful. We will for sure be back. Exceeded expectations in every way.

We have a year without visiting Fort Mayers, because of the hurricane. I need to say that the property was fabulous! My family and I have a great last week vacation before school. Beautiful beach, the pool was refreshing for the kids, the apartment was spectacular with a stunning view.

The hotel is great with families great location The only negative is the workers I understand they need to fix the damages from the hurricane but 7am is too early. Also the manager the older gentlemen needs to be more friendly.

Fantastic room. 2 great bedrooms and 3 eating areas Very good kitchen appliances. Just sad due to hurricane destruction. Publix grocery open but little else. Still good for us to support the recovery by the properties that are open.

The 2 bedroom was great space for our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teenagers). 2 bathrooms was a plus! Very clean. Definitely not a hotel feel at all (no restaurants, no daily cleaning), but we were fine with it. My only complaint would be the pull out couch/bed. It was so thin, and very uncomfortable. We used all the spare blankets to make it more tolerable for our daughter to sleep on it. Not sure how 2 people would sleep on that, unless they were smaller children. Despite that, we really enjoyed the room. Having a washer and dryer inside our place was also a huge benefit. Its on a quieter area of the beach, so nothing really walkable to do at night, but we drove down to the main area, and frequented other night life spots. Overall, GREAT place!

The apartment was good. Wish the owners had more beach things available like toys and wagons like other beach front properties we’ve stayed at. Also the construction Was a big inconvenience. They said it doesn’t start until 8am but the construction workers got there before and were very loud. Then the smell from the porter potties was terrible.

This review is really not fair as the resort is being restored due to Ian. The unit was very nice and even luxurious but the patio had a thick layer of cement dust and workers were stripping the stucco off scaffolding, destroying our privacy and producing ungodly noise levels. We were given short notice just prior to trip to expect inconvenience, but too short to cancel flights and other reservations. Under other circumstances I would recommend this resort, but at this time I would say go elsewhere or stay home. By the way, the staff were great, but their hands were tied.

Was a nice quiet area, not busy on the beach - direct access was nice. Could rent chairs/umbrella, which was pricey. Plan on buying groceries ahead of time for your stay. Do not even think about trying to go out for supper. Leaving at 4pm will put you in standstill traffic for literally 2 hours. We were better going for a late lunch & groceries/snacks for supper. A lot more construction than was described online. There’s no cleaning during stay, ask if something is needed (had to ask for more toilet paper, which for the nightly rate, could be better than sand paper). Due to flight cancelling/changing, had to add another night, which they were accommodating, however would not give the same rate as other nights (even lost one night due to flight, so paid for a night when we weren’t there). Online mentioned snacks for purchase (hot dogs, popcorn, slushies) by the pool. There was none of this. Tennis court was closed, despite being listed open. The room overall was nice, both showers had issues, could tell some work was still needed. Could use their bikes, however there aren’t any for little kids (my 11/13 yo’s were fine to use, but not my 6yo).
