This was the perfect place to stay if you wanna stay in the Castro. Extremely well located… There’s an incredible market across the street to pick up some food and snacks… all of the bars and restaurants are within walking distance… I would 100% stay there again when in San Francisco…

Is the most unique, detailed, well designed room for comfort & function that I’ve ever stayed in. Lights that dim, including the bathroom, smart speaker for music, entertainment, and information. Highly recommended for the location, rate, and ease of checking in. Would definitely stay again.

I wasn't sure how it was going to go with No front desk person. But it was very easy and smooth. My room was a perfect little cozy place, big windows letting in natural light. I had a backyard ground floor room. Felt very home like. The rooftop patio gives awesome views. The location is incredibly convenient for all things castro. Will absolutely stay here again and again.

Delightful hotel with a great location. The rooms are very small and a bit overpriced with the World Cup in town but still delightful even over paying for the size of the space.

As a solo woman traveling, I appreciated the safety of three areas needing codes: front door, elevator, room. My room had twin beds for one or two guests. Clean, huge bathroom, good shower, many amenities. First time I had a personal Nespresso in the room with unlimited pods. And a tea kettle with tea selection as well as two bottles for filtered water available in the lobby. Comfortable bed, balcony, and staff that quickly responded to any need. The street billows with bars, restaurants, and a wonderful French bakery. I enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone and totally worth the price. Everything was nearly perfect from the location, cleanliness, safety, amenities, hospitality, check in/out instructions and overall communication. One of the many reasons why the beloved queer community does everything ✨right✨! Love love Hotel Castro!!

Though this hotel room was significantly smaller than expected, it was well appointed, safe, super clean, and in an amazing location. You can't really beat the location. I appreciated the no hassle check-in process, and I really liked the virtual front desk. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is absolutely perfect for visiting The Castro District. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. I just had to give less stars because the walls and floors/ceiling are so thin you can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors, especially footsteps. We could not sleep. Thankfully the remote staff was very responsive and was able to remedy the noisy party.
