I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The bed was so comfy. The Buffet breakfast is the best option. The pool area wasn’t tidy. Nobody cleaned up the towels and other stuff the guests left behind. The Christmas ambiance was a plus. Bucketlist checked.

I love this hotel and will continue to stay here. I don’t give 5 stars in all areas because the jacuzzi is kept at a temp that feels lukewarm. It’s also a tiny jacuzzi with rough texture that snags bathing suits and scratches skin. It doesn’t match the opulence of the hotel. I had to call 4 times to ask for a toothbrush to be sent to my room. It took a couple hours for it to arrive. Other than those minor issues- food and staff were great. The room was in need of fresh paint on walls or maybe a Mr Clean sponge to get all the black scuffs off. These are minor issues. I’m satisfied overall.

The property is beautiful and has so much history. We were there on their 150 anniversary. Service was exceptional. Concierge Malia was able to help with a last minute special request to make our stay extra special. We had a great stay and will recommend to our friends.
