"The room was decent for the price, and the customer service was excellent. Its location near the Moscone Center is highly convenient. On my first day, the A/C made strange noises that kept me awake, but the maintenance team responded quickly and fixed it. Note that the climate control is manual, not automated; guests cannot switch between heating and cooling themselves. A maintenance worker must do it for you, and they are only available from 9 AM to 10 PM. Given that the hotel is 100 years old, this setup is understandable, and they have maintained the property well. The bathroom was clean. The refrigerator also made a strange buzzing sound, but I resolved it by unplugging it. Overall, it is a fine place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep and get ready for a conference."
