Hotel shuttle would take you to places within 3 miles of hotel. To get to Boston the shuttle took us to train station. From there we road train to Boston downtown where everything was located. Alot of walking. Trolley's downtown but still wear your walking shoes. It rained all day the first day we went to Boston but we continued to stay downtown and went to aquarium/imax, which was a fast walk from train station until we found aquarium. Other days we road trolley's more and got to see more...

Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. The Valet advised us of the parking procedure and the cost (we knew it was an expensive $60/day but were not going traipse around the city looking for parking). Great hotel for families visiting Boston. Free parking, pool for the kids, and breakfasts served before you go. Linda, our evening hostess was FANTASTIC. She answered our questions, took care of our needs and made sure we were comfortable. If visiting the city during the day, would recommend the I93 HOV lane to come back to the hotel. DO NOT take the "side streets" 128 or 138 back south to the hotel, and whatever your maps app might say, DO NOT take the Blue Hills parkway - you will sit in a...

This is an ideal place to stay for a couple of days near the sea. The building is beautiful, the staff nice and the location perfect. Just in front of fisherman´s mall, you can see at night the lighthouse and in the morning the seaguls wake you up. All the harbour around is beautifull and all kind of bars, shops and restaurants, in the tipical seashore houses make a gorgeous surrounding.

Very nice, clean modern hotel. Every hotel we stayed at after here (traveling a long ways) made us miss it. We stayed 3 nights and it was very enjoyable. Breakfast was also great.

I stayed at the Residence Inn because I was visiting a friend in the area and had to make a quick stop at Stonehill College. Stonehill, for parents and prospects, is just literally around the corner...five minutes of less. The Mercy College volleyball team was staying in the hotel so I'm guessing it's a team stop. That's probably all you need to know. I looked at other possibilities, but would rather pay an extra $40 to stay in a place that is not underconstruction, has the Marriott brand and...
