「The front desk was super nice both for check in and check out, i mean seriously so nice. Rooms were clean, hotel smelt clean, breakfest was good, I really can’t complain about anything here. Will be staying here again next year.」

「I would suggest if you want a clean place to stay this is not it. We had no electricity due to rain I’m guessing.?? The bathtub had mold around it and mold in corner of living area with a dehumidifier hiding it. Spider webs , dirty, blinds broke, the beadboard was cracked all over the bathroom. Then they had totes of clean linens right outside rooms for them to change later I’m guessing that we almost tripped over carrying our luggage. The place needs an overhaul inside and out. 」

「The hotel is very close to scenic spots, making it convenient to visit places like Ruby Falls. As it is a pet-friendly hotel, the hygiene conditions may not be maintained. During our stay, the hotel experienced a power outage in the afternoon for a long time, which greatly affected our accommodation experience. When booking the room, the hotel indicated the availability of electric vehicle charging stations, but upon arrival, we found that there were none. The hotel breakfast was very good.The...

「I was In the old part of the hotel and did not care for it nearly as much as the newer part. It seemed darker and no bathrobes or bathroom incidentals (cotton balls, qtips, etc.). Staff was still great and I love The Read House just not the older wing of rooms.」

「Patched wall was not painted, told by Expedia I would get a room with two queen beds was given a room with two double beds, tile in bathroom was off the wall as it should have been at the bottom of the wall acting as the mop board, continental breakfast was only two choice of cereal, mini muffins, toast or waffle. Only one waffle iron was working. No bagel as advertised. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 」
