「As another review said: don’t like the name turn you away. It was an overall great experience. When we checked in the owner was very welcoming and nice, comfy beds (pillows aren’t the best), very clean but in general the hotel is slightly outdated and things need updated but it comes with time. It was very quite, not far from gas station and other accommodation’s- we traveled to galena after staying and it was a quick trip there. I would stay again! 」

「Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Very old building with alot of charm. Can walk entire downtown area. No frills. Bar/lounge felt like a Frank Sinatra hangout. Fun karaoke. 」

「Lovely historic bed and breakfast. It has a contactless check in. It is very quiet and private. Wonderful breakfast featuring mushrooms foraged on the property. There's a one lane driveway, so you need to be a little cautious. 」

「Window was stuck open and floors were squeaky but there was good space and it was a comfortable and affordable stay. Lots of do it yourself handyman fixes but that gives it some charm. The TV was easy to cast to, it had a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge」
