Write a hotel review for holiday inn express Dubuque Iowa. Very disappointed for the price paid for the night. Bathtub has stains and walls in bathroom are half painted. Door is all scratched up to the room, carpet is stained and has tears right by the front door, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the hotel. Tv was going out.

This is the first Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at that I felt I went back in time to 30 years ago. This is so outdated I’m shocked that IHG puts their name on this property. Needed remodeled 20 years ago. The coffee looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Was so dirty I left without showering. I’ve been an IHG member for almost ten years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. So disappointed that I paid for this online otherwise I would have left.

Wasn't as clean as I would have expected in a Holiday inn Express I don't think it was necessarily dirty I just think it's an old building there were stains in the shower and the carpets marked the cleanest especially in the hallways The Staff was very helpful and friendly The breakfast selection was amazing I would let people know that there's really nothing open in the town after 9:00 I arrived late I wasn't able to shop for any dinner or groceries or anything

Check in and out was easy. The room was clean and spacious. The Breakfast had a variety of healthy choices. The staff was quite helpful. The location was ideal for our visit there. The pool was clean with plenty of towels. The only negative was that the hot tub was being serviced and we couldn’t use it.

9/8-9/0/26: ground floor king bed was clean and nice but old worn out furnishings. Air conditioning did not work, only fan worked. Nice hot strong tiled shower, worn out towels. Cramped parking lot without room for all semi truck driver guests and regular customers. Sidewalks cracked and spalling. Luggage carts broken. Breakfast mediocre, pastries gone at 0830 not replenished. Could be so much better if only upkeep was regular. Staff was excellent.
