「The property was excellently situated just around the corner from the Minster. The rooms are well presented with everything you need and staff are very helpful. The pub down stairs is well stocked and a nice environment to be in. Jane was amazing and very generous on our arrival to take our bags in early so we could make the most of our time in York. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. 」

The bed was amazing and I could have sat looking out of the window the whole time I was there. A stunning location that is central to many wonderful places and the most amazing scenery.
