「The staff was helpful but the property itself is not well maintained. The hotel price was relatively higher and expensive due to EAA event. Rooms were not clean and surprised to know they recently changed their policy to make the beds after their owner got changed. It was so uncomfortable to sleep in the rooms with beds not made each day. The staff was generous enough that when I returned to the room in the evening and brought to their attention then front desk made the bed themselves even...

「We love Green Lake and have been many times. This was a first visit to the McConnell Inn . How warm and charming it was!!! Breakfasts were exceptional. We stayed in the attics suite, which was huge and very excellently restored. A real treat!💕」

「This is a nice hotel. It’s a bit older, but I stayed in the refurbished, train-themed room. Everything is nice, I just wish the room had more power outlets and an iron & ironing board. Breakfast was just a waffle iron and coffee, but you can find breakfast locally.」

「The building is structurally unsound. The entire structure is leaning, shower pan separating from the shower walls, doors stuck from the failing foundation and stairs at the brink of collpase. Black mold is clearly visible in the bathroom. The entire floor bounces from a failing sub floor. The outdoor walk way is covered with dead mayflies. 「The home is beautifully restored with modern touches, yet remains true to it's roots. The property has a short path to a river with benches to relax. Robin, the host was very personable and served a lovely breakfast. The other touches that were unique was an ice machine, refrigerator, water, soda and a Keurig machine available for use in the common area. And Cookies! This was the perfect place to relax and unwind!」

「We met the owner and the onsite couple that maintains, cooks and cleans the place. We went off season so there wasn’t much to do in the town, but this place is beautiful. We loved it and didn’t want to leave. The location to downtown Green Lake is perfect.」
