A great location with a short walk to some good sights to see nearby and easy access to the metro to get you further afield in and around Qingdao. An excellent standard of accommodation with comfortable bed spacious rooms and fully equipped bathroom. Morning coffee (Starbucks) attached to the hotel, which was perfect for our mornings.

Disappointing experience

The hotel is one of the leading brands in the industry, unfortunately it was a disappointing experience, checked in with a room of cigarettes smell, strong odor, shocking that Westin would rent out a room in such condition for nearly $200 a night in Qingdao, China

Booked for my parents and grandma. The front desk girl told them thereโ€™s complimentary breakfast when checking in. My parents didnโ€™t asked and itโ€™s totally ok if they didnโ€™t say so. However when they went for breakfast the following day they were told that it was impossible and nobody would give them free breakfast. As I said we understand we didnโ€™t pay for the breakfast when we booked rooms and we didnโ€™t have to eat at hotel, but the way they treated us and responded didnโ€™t make any sense. Hope they can do better in communicating with customers.
