"Lovely old hotel with friendly staff. Includes breakfast which was amazing (3 choices made to order vs your typical continental breakfast). Close walk to Beacon Hill and downtown."
"Centrally located to activities, dining and excursions from one end of Vancouver Island (airport/Sidney) to the other (Victoria) and Butchart Gardens "just around the corner"!"

"This is an older property that has clearly had some recent renovations. The bathrooms were a standout — clean, bright, and updated. Check-in and check-out were both quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated.
The location is very convenient, especially with the #70 bus stopping right outside. Free Wi-Fi and parking were also a nice bonus. The A/C unit worked well and kept the room comfortable throughout my stay.
On the downside, I couldn’t get the TV to work, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the carpets could really use a deep cleaning — they were noticeably worn. That said, everything else was clean and well-maintained.
Overall, a solid place to stay. If the carpets were refreshed, this would be an easy five-star recommendation."
"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was awesome and we were in walking distance to downtown. The bar was wonderful and the worker’s were very friendly. I give it a 10!"
"Stayed with family in 2 rooms over 4 nights. Friendly service with clean, comfortable rooms with a nice kitchen and living room area. What more could you ask for?"
