Motel 6 Prentice Cooper State Forest hotels

"This is a strange hotel. The lobby and rooms are nicely furnished and the courtyard is a great place to hang out. But there are major deficiencies: 1. There is no elevator and carrying luggage to the room through narrow doors and staircases is no small feat. 2. There is no free breakfast. You can get a dried out mandarin, a granola bar and a factory produced slice of plasticy cake - that is NOT a breakfast. You can purchase juice, yoghurt and a few other snacks but even then it is a lousy breakfast. No eggs, meats, cheese, fruit or cereal. 3. There is no hairdryer in the room and when we asked at the front desk, we were told the hotel has none!!! We’ve never seen this in 30 years of travel. 4. The fridge in the room did not work. So overalls not a place I would recommend or go back to. "

"Was there for a wedding and reception and stayed the night where the reception was - The Read House. Very nice and very impressed. "

"check in was easy, staff could have been a little friendlier, room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Only problem in the room was the bathroom fan in room 269. It was terribly loud. Couldn't hear yourself think and I'm hard of hearing."
