「We were treated like family here. Our stay was so lovely. We were staying for a wedding nearby and the lovely owners let us check in at 11am, before the ceremony, to ensure we knew our way around. The b&b was peaceful and had all amenities that we needed. The breakfast / cafe was wonderful. We will return!」

「Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. 「Simply perfect for a memorable stay in the heart of Dartmoor. 「Access to car park and car park itself are uneven. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Cannot comment on public areas in hotel as did not use, but reception area is small and dingy and feels very old fashioned. Room 16 (budget single)」

I didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but the menu is varied and the people I saw eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. It’s less than 10 mins from the A38, through country lanes which makes you feel as if you are a lot farther from the hustle and bustle than you actually are…..a gem of a find and I will be back….」
