「This property has been redone top to bottom. It is beautiful and in the perfect Detroit Lakes location. They are redoing the road in front of the lake to make it even more friendly to visitors. The lake is the view from pretty much every room of Beach Haven. You are steps from amazing food. Drinks and patios with Zorbaz, Lakeside and Hub 41 next to this property. 「I have stayed at this facility before and I am always please with how accommodating they are, how friendly the staff is and the rooms are clean, comfortable and they seem to always go a little over and above to make my stay better whether it is upgrading my room if they can, allowing me to check in a little bit early so I don't have to sit and wait in my car, and allowing for late checkouts at last minute or in one case having to book an extra night due to a snow storm. 「This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. 」
