Hot tub sauna, and pool were absolutely amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that needed some work is their breakfast.. it was only hard boiled eggs, toast. muffins, bread.

The rooms are very outdated. There were no comforters on the bed and had to ask the front desk for blankets. The TV was so small and there was nothing but old TV shows available. Would be nice to have other services available. The guest room doors slam hard and often! It was very loud and annoying! The staff was helpful for the most part when in need of something but we were there when a big change of management was happening, which was obviously an issue for some of the staff. Good location. Over all, it was doable, but would not stay again.

My family and I booked a double room for 4 nights on the ground floor. The room was spacious and clean with a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, fireplace with a Duralog and small balcony. We appreciated the hot tub and heated pool in the evenings with the continental breakfast each morning. The location was perfect to travel to Big Sur and Monterey and the staff was amazing.

Terrible continental breakfast if that’s what they’re calling it. I couldn’t even get a decent cup of coffee out of that industrial machine that they just installed. Could not even get cream for the tea! A regular cup of coffee is all I was asking for nothing fancy. The regular black coffee in that machine was horrible. You couldn’t drink it.

Breakfast was very minimal the coffee machine was not stocked with what the options were. When my kids (13/16/17) went out to the pool and got tub they were told they could not be there that ot was a private party and there was alcohol. When we asked the front desk the girl she made a face and said it was another staff member saying they so her family could be there. We paid for this option and couldn’t use it. The rooms were okay. Very noisy from rooms above when showers or toilets were used. Sounded like water running down the walls. We did not have a good experience and will never stay here again. Could not believe the staff thought they could tell paying customers they could not use the facilities

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Nice property but the hotel was a little old needing some updates. The continental breakfast was very very basic. They had no creamer for coffee, only milk. Ran out of sugar. For such a large room for breakfast, everything was crammed into two corners. When your trying to get a yogurt from the refrigerator, people were gathered around the 1 toaster trying to use. There was only 1 coffee machine and again, people crammed into 1 corner waiting to get coffee. Needs a better layout. The most disappointing issue though was after our first night, we left for the day. We asked the cleaning staff if they could just empty the trash, exchange washcloths and hand towels and vacuum the room because we had spilt oatmeal on the floor. When we returned that night, nothing was touched.

Love the place, but a few suggestions. Please stock conditioner in the shower, along with the shampoo and body wash. Please bring back the croissants at breakfast. Have a bin of towels in the pool area, or have double the large towels in the room, so each person can have a pool towel, and a bath towel.

We booked a room for 2 adults and one child, but they only had a king size bed and no place for the 10 year old to sleep. No couch, no rollaway, no other rooms available. They did give us some extra blankets so he could sleepmon the floor. They did agree to a partial refund.

The staff was navigating a change of owners so dealing with new software & other changes; still, very welcoming & helpful when asked. The property is old but the room & grounds seemed pretty clean. Breakfast was basic- variety of pastries & thankfully hard boiled eggs for protein. New owners brought in a fancy coffee machine that dispensed sugar water powder coffee. Thankfully it kept malfunctioning so the staff made us good old fashioned drip coffee from real beans. Hot tub & dry sauna a big plus & very appreciated.

Property was nice, interior very clean, room does not have charging outlets, had to find a place to purchase some. A suggestion for hotel would be replacing outdated lamps with lamps that have charging outlets. TV in room had a messed up screen, although we weren’t on this trip to watch tv, it was annoying. All in all though staying here was of good value.
