The property is beautiful, and the staff is exceptional. Since our flight didn't depart until the evening, they kindly let us stay in the room longer. The breakfast was the best we experienced in SA. We also enjoyed walking around the property and meeting the horses. I highly recommend this place.

A hidden gem. The place is beautiful and the staff were exceptionally great. I would definitely come back.

Uniquely quite and beautiful. Very nice breakfat too

nice and quiet place surrendered by a nice garden..... the staff is nice and professional and the place is gorgeous.

Beautiful garden, great breakfast and elegantly furnished hotel with a fantastic restaurant right next door.

Excellent location - walk to all major sites in Stellenbosch and around the Univeristy. Perfectly situated for doing the vineyards of both Sellenbosch and Franschhoek by car. Many good restaurants out the front door - but don't need to wonder far when Helena's is inside this boutique inn. I highly recommend it. An easy relatively short drive from Cape Town.

Great guest house with welcoming and helpful staff.

Delicious breakfast, large room, reasonable rate, walking distance to great restaurants and right in the wine region! Absolutely perfect!

One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!

Very comfortable. Great breakfast and scenic views. Nicely furnished.

This was an absolutely wonderful stay! Sean and his team really took care of me. I felt so welcomed. And they really looked after me because they were able to accommodate all my allergies. My reservation was at the very last minute, and they were so gracious with all the last-minute changes. The food was made from scratch in-house and was delicious! The wine transported me! The room and furnishings were modern, clean, and well maintained. There was five-star service at every venue on the...

This guest house felt like a home away from home. The fire was inviting and the staff were warm and fun to talk to about rugby and all things South African. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were individual and comfortable.
