「Fantastic stay in Franschhoek. The staff was extremely nice and helpfull. They booked dinner reservations for us and helped in every way. Highly recomended. We will stay here again next time we go to Franschhoek.」

「Lovely place w excellent service. Quiet and very beautiful in the midst of the vineyards. Our cottage was adorable and had a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen but most of all sweeping views over the valley and the vineyards. Would love to come back. Plus for the coffee at the Mill 」

「This hotel deserves a much better rating on Expedia! We just returned from a night and a day in the Provençal Suite. The room and hotel generally are immaculate with all facilities you could want set among pristine gardens. The private plunge pool was a wonderful way to enjoy the view along with the complementary bottle of wine they provided in the room. 「Amazing property! Rooms were extremely well prepared. Free bottle of wine and a cheese board upon arrival. Bottles water and a prepared log fire. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in the terrace overlooking the gardens. I will be returning. 」

「I can't say enough good things about our stay. The staff was phenomenal. So very welcoming and helpful with ideas for spending our time in Franschhoek. Our room was beautiful, large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The location is in town within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the wine tram. Highly recommend Avondrood Guest House.」
