「The best western in Portage WI is the nicest hotel in the area. Nice rooms」

「The rest of the guests were mostly long term residents and extremely rude and obnoxious. They sit around gossiping outside short term guests rooms, knock on the door and then run away. The room itself was so dirty, I went and got tapestries and fabric to put over the furniture and used a tarp over the bed I wasn't using and the bedding had holes in it and didn't look clean and felt terrible. One woman stood in front of my door and barked orders at some other people apparently far from where...

「Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was no breakfast options but we knew that ahead of time so we brought our own. In a good location really big pool. We didn’t use, but it looked nice.」

「Went to the Dells for a short vacation and loved this location. Walking distance to downtown and all the activities that we wanted to do, and far enough of a walk where after a night of drinking, gave a relaxing walk to the room.」

「The property is newly renovated and very well maintained. It is quiet and very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property and would book again when I’m in the area. The photos are accurate to the way the rooms look in person.」

「Check in and check out were easy by using the link provided. The whirlpool had distinct water line ring & hair in the bottom. The ice bucket had black mold around the ring at the top. The exterior door of the hotel was unlocked/unlatched when we entered. Once we closed it shut and tried to reopen for a family member bringing in baggage, the door would not open. Both of these were alarming.」

「Room was clean, beds were comfortable enough, felt safe, employee was very nice, great location to walk the strip. 」

「Nice place, but the bathrooms are really, really small. And the blankets are closer to thick sheets than anything. For the price, it was worth it. There is also very limited parking spaces. Not sure if it was because we were in the off season for the Dells, but breakfast is only available during the weekends, so I had to go elsewhere to eat in the morning.」
