When we got there after driving 10hrs the hotel lobby smelt like alcohol and then going upstairs to check into our room.. the hotel stairway smelt like dog and cat urine. Got to our room and smelt so bad of mold!! Not happy

I have stayed at this Super 8 many times over a few decades, but had not stayed in the last several years. This motel is also larger than most Super 8 properties, more rooms on more floors. However the main entrance looks more like a side door and the lobby area is fairly small. It is conveniently located just off of I-39, but situated such that there is no noise from the highway. It is at the end of a 'strip' of gas stations, fast food restaurants, and small stores. Unlike some similar motels, it has a capacious parking lot. This property, on my recent visit, appeared to be well maintained and clean, although I spotted a few small flakes of what looked like bits of brittle old newsprint on the room carpeting; I have no idea what that was all about. I did not enounter any issues with noise.

I left my expensive hiking shoes behind in a rush of checking out. Several hours later I called and told the staff I left them by accident and I was told that the cleaning staff usually tosses what is left behind or they steal it and don’t give it to the front desk and lie about taking the items left behind.

My TV didn't work. Could hardly see the screen and input controls not available. Coffee machine had no regular coffee. Felt damp in the room but will admit seemed clean. Probably won't return next time I am in the area, which I do quarterly!

The hotel was gross. It had not been swept. There was hair in the inside of the shower curtain. They do not clean the room, replace the towels while you are out. We had to go to the front desk the second day to get fresh towels. The lamps did not work in the room so you had no lighting. Which was also a problem to charge your phone since that was the plug in. There were holes you could feel in the floor. And there were stain on the sheets. NEVER AGAIN!
