「Ash Grove was the perfect place for our stay. It is out of the way and rather private. It is not in the middle of Paihia but close enough that we could easily drive in to town to eat and go on our tour of the Bay. Even better, it was just down the road from Haruru Falls, which was spectacular. We loved going on a walk along the river. We felt very much at home in our little cottage. 「It was like staying in a cabin in the bush. Quiet, spacious, private and shady with a well equipped kitchen, and a bbq on the balcony. Split level sleeping arrangement and large bathroom. Easy walk to the beach and into town. We’d stay there again. 」

「We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.」

「我非常不推荐这家酒店，这是我在新西兰住过最差的酒店。我会告诉我的亲朋好友不选择这家酒店。 1，男屋主非常粗鲁，没有礼貌。入住时，我开了4小时车，想先上一下厕所再办入住，男主人不让，坚持要我出去把行李拿上，再一起上楼办入住。 2，他坚持让我把鞋放在门口，说脏不能放房间。但是给我的拖鞋是别人穿过的，我看见有脚趾和脚后跟的印记，他坚持说这就是新的。我非常不能忍受。去房间需要上楼和走过户外的走廊，拖鞋不防滑，还把袜子都弄湿了。我不能忍受他让我把1000美金的球鞋放在房间外面，那是我的个人财物，我觉得很有必要放在我自己的房间里。 3，房间很小，天花板是斜的。后面橱子开了门用冰箱就不能过人。浴室有裂缝，隔壁就是他的餐厅，每天7点不到就很吵，根本无法得到很好的休息。是一间改装的阳光房。 4，他说去城中心走下山就可以，指的小路非常湿滑，没有防护栏，十分危险，我走了5米就放弃了，绕大路下山，回来时候坡度很大，人很累。浑身酸疼了好几天。 5，停车位很少很小，卫生间毛巾不干净。...

「Staff was great, and bungalow we stayed in was lovely. Adjacent to hotel, room had jetted tub with shower plus kitchenette. Water front view was lively albeit 5 minute parking space in front for checkin sometimes had cars blocking our view. The restaurant dinner for sunset was lovely and food was excellent. 」
