"Excellent service. Remarkable onsen (hot spring) experience especially the outdoor ones, one near a waterfall at a natural slope, the other at the roof top with panoramic view of the skyline against mountain ranges. Very good meals too."

"The room is very spacious with a great view and a very good onsen inside our room. Staff are also very helpful to help facilitate our late check in but it’s a little bit frustrating as email is the only way available for contacting the hotel. Food quality is average and I wish there are more diversity for our meal. I also hope to have more facilities to spend the time in hotel."

"日式的房間，有由兩張單人床褥拼貼的一張雙人床，床前有一個日式客廳，活動空間十足。 進入酒店室內範圍要脫鞋，室內地方清潔，即使赤腳走動，亦覺舒適。 浴室水壓足夠，花灑亦夠力且十分舒適。 酒店提供免費停車位或者免費接駁到車站。 溫泉分室內和室外，十分好。"

"We had an amazing stay at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en. Since its recent renewal, the hotel feels incredibly modern, clean, and welcoming. The highlight was definitely the open-air hot spring on the top floor—soaking in the onsen while taking in the stunning mountain views was pure bliss. The buffet was another pleasant surprise; both breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic variety of fresh seafood, sashimi, and even free-flowing drinks. Location-wise, it’s highly convenient as the bus stop is right in front of the property. The staff were attentive, and the overall ambiance was peaceful. It's an excellent half-board choice for anyone looking to unwind in Hakone. Highly recommended!"

"非常傳統的日式房子，已經有百年歷史，維持的算乾淨。房間沒有浴室，但可以預約私人泡湯半小時，其他時間可以使用大浴場泡溫泉。早晚餐在房間裏吃，東西不鹹好吃。整個住宿經驗非常日式，西方人很多來住，推薦想體驗傳統日式料理飯店的人。"
