「Such an amazing place, this is our 2nd time here within the past year. My family loves the place and easy access to the lake which is so peaceful to see at sunrise and sunset. Friendly staff as well and the place is clean. Price is fair. Pure relaxation 」

「Apartment exceeded our expectations for size, comfort and cleanliness. The complementary wind and microwave popcorn was a bonus. My only suggestion would be to somehow list the tv channels that are actually included in the cable plan. The TV Guide button brings up over 200 channels but most of the “channel not available” after you select it. This was a bit frustrating and a wasted a lot of time looking for a show or movie」

「Grand Haven is my 2nd home and Captain's Cottage is my 2nd home. I have stayed here many times and it's always perfect. So clean (without the toxic clean smell), very comfortable and a perfect location to downtown and the lake.」

「We had a great stay. The rooms are dated but the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. We arrived before check in and they were able to get us in a room early. Great front desk staff. 」

「Our stay was great! Centrally located to the downtown area, walking distance to most! The beach is a little further but not too far! The beds were decent, and everything was clean! Keep in mind this house is a historic house and does come with its share of creaks and old decor. Shelly the host was very welcoming and helpful. All in all I would absolutely stay there again. 」

「Staff was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. I did not realize we would be in a building not attached to the hotel. So when the kids wanted to swim, we had to walk (in the cold & rain) to and from the main building to get to the pool. Same with breakfast.」

「Great spot to stay. We had some issues, but maintenance was quick to respond and help us. In Grand Haven for a funeral. Couple things that are not critical, but would improve condo. Kleenex in the bathrooms. Shower rods and drapery rods need to be secured. Directions for TV. Three remotes! Location was perfect for family we needed to see.」

「Had a confirmed booking and was charged however I never received any information on how to check into the property. I arrived at the property and no one was there for me to check in. I messaged the owner on the VRBO app and never received a response. After traveling several hours to stay at this property I had to scramble to make other arrangements for the weekend. VRBO customer service to resolve this and provide a refund is atrocious and have been no help.」

「This was a pet friendly, convenient location for our visit. We had called to get adjoining rooms, which did not get set up. However, the front desk staff was able to shift our rooms & get this accomplished. The room was nice with ample space. There was a door to the outside near our room that needs maintenance. Breakfast & breakfast staff was very nice. Quiet Thurs but noisy Fri night. No surprise.」

「We came in very late. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the walls are thin and next door neighbor had a noise machine and you could hear it all night 」
