「We stayed in a very small room with a double bed, and it was perfect! Price was very reasonable and staff was tremendous! Beautiful patio area overlooking the Rock River where we enjoyed morning coffee and watched the eagles overhead, friendly guests that chatted with us. All in all, a GREAT place to stay!」

「The pool was closed not that we wanted to use it. We stayed one night. The bathroom door got stuck on the floor a little way in so you couldn't open it fully so you had to carefully work your way between the tub and toilet to shut the door fully. The room smelled like mildew or mold but we couldn't figure out if it was due to the humid area or the hotel trying to update.」

「This hotel is the epitome of mediocre; while we enjoyed the proximity to downtown Galena the hotel itself is in desperate need of a refresh. The rooms were decently clean; small debris was not vacuumed from the corners, stained chairs, our room (211) had water stains on the ceiling, and an annoying tapping in the wall, the room lacked an ironing board, and the ice bucket lacked a bag.
