"Let me say I was disappointed with the room. I had to report a ceiling fan that kept clicking in the middle of the night. The chairs on the balcony had a netting that was falling apart, they replaced it with a steel chair, that wobbled. The door you had to pull rather hard for it to shut properly. People would leave their room service plate outside their door. It would last about a day to a day and a half. Now the breakfast that was included used powdered eggs, the sausage was dry, the rice was hard. When all said and done they did give us a ride to the airport. "

"The resort is lovely, we enjoyed the food at the buffet and the restaurants plus we loved breakfast and lunch at the grill restaurant. Our room was always clean and welcoming. Enrique (restaurant manager) organized a beautiful milestone birthday celebration in the Italian restaurant that was perfect! Kevin (entertainment manager) had great events organized and I enjoyed stretch class and aquafit in the pool every morning. Our only complaint is the lack of shade at the pools. By the end of our 2 weeks there was 2 umbrellas at the smaller pool near the beach and the larger pool had 6 umbrellas… we won’t go back until there is adequate shade at the pool. It was sunny and 34-36C every day, you need shelter from the sun. Other than needing shade, I’d recommend this resort if you’re looking for a quieter adult only place. "

"The public areas of the hotel are very nice and well maintained. The pools are plentiful and shade is readily available. I did not go to the beach. Too hot for me. Our room was clean. Nice balcony on the garden view. Furnishings and decor is dated and tired but the hotel has a major update planned so will get better soon. Staff accommodated our reservation request to be close to elevator. Much appreciated. "

"Beautiful property on one of the best beaches in the country. Great food and a relaxed Pura Vida vibe throughout. Not your typical all-inclusive experience; no loud music, no large group activities throughout the day. Perfect place to relax. "

"3rd time to this resort. The Westin club rooms and pool area have improved but food selection and quality has slipped a bit. Premium liquor package did not include pinot Grigio and still a bit suspicious of alcohol content in the whisky I had; I never got a buzz! The concrete paths throughout the resort need a good cleaning and re-coating. Happy with our club level suite and room amenities. Dinner reservations are a bit of a game…club personnel made them for 4 days in advance when we arrived but after that had to use the app which was frustrating. It only works same same and have to log on at 8am. "
