「Not a “Five Star Resort” but earned 5 stars from me. Counter staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were basic but very clean and cozy. Great views, pool was nice. Didn’t try the restaurant onsite but locals recommended it. Just beware, if you’re staying during the week, almost all local restaurants close by 8pm, so factor that into your day plans. Great easy access to Point Reyes Park」

「Checking in was not with real staff but rather by a visual computer screen and by a person who spoke with an accent that is difficult to understand. There was a staff at the front desk but did nothing to help unless you asked for. We didn’t feel welcomed by this procedure. The same process was with checking out. Hotel is close to freeway and a busy street so it is noisy. However, the room was clean and spacious. There is no elevator.」

「Lovely property right outside of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Has on site restaurant, which was good. Close to the town of Point Reyes Station if you want to venture out.」

「Good stay when I needed some rest on my way home from a trip. The guy behind the desk was super friendly and helpful. Pet friendly, no real area to potty your pup.... so plan to be taking your pet for walks. But a nice, super basic yet comfortable place. I couldnt figure out working the tv for the life of me, but you can always call the front desk during their working hours! Served it's purpose for my dog and I on our way up the coast.」

「Very quaint place. relatively quiet and very clean. The rooms are small and simple but clean. The hotel is an old building, so it has a certain charm and distinctiveness. Good breakfast on site. The hotel is a few blocks away from downtown Petaluma and all the restaurants. excellent location. great prize value. I would/will come back to this hotel if necessary rather than the big-name ones.」

「The Inn is located in the center of Occidental. The Inn is older, which is part of its charm; however, the room we stayed in had a very strong damp smell, which was not inviting. We were on the first floor, and it felt like the family above, with their small children, was in the same room. Every step and door closure you could hear. There were missing slats on the window blinds, allowing light from the patio in. The one attendant, JP, was extremely helpful and was the highlight of the stay....
