5/5 - Excellent
I need to live over there is my dream city to buy apartment over there

Ok hotel in new Cairo (one hour from Pyramids but right next to airport). Day tours charged me extra given distance. Complex security process to drive in. Massive complex with poor signage so I got lost. My first room was beside pool so you need to go outside, not undercover, to room- but door didn’t ...

It is a difficult city to manage if you are traveling alone. Uber works really well and is very inexpensive. I went from New Cairo to Giza for about $20 USD. Next time I would for sure book a guide. They are reasonable and you see a lot more.
I like the area near the new campus for American University Cairo.
Convenient
It is growing hub.
Definitely modernizing this new sector of Egypt helped transition the stereotypical Cairo city into a more delightful infrastructurelayout and way of life.
