"It is definitely family friendly but don't forget water shoes for the kids as the area around the kids pool was quite slippery. I wish the drinks were a little more consistent and that they cleaned up the glasses around the pool area more. We stayed around the activities pool so I can only speak on that. The Asian restaurant (Silk) was awesome, the Italian (Amalfi) was also very good but La Pergola (Mexican) was terrible. Nice omelet station at the buffet. Snack bar (La Bamba) was very good and there's an ice cream stand as well. It is a time share resort but we were only approached when we arrived and they respected that we were not interested. And I loved that there was laundry available for 120 pesos per load including soap. Didn't have to bring home wet clothes!"

"The pool only gets sun after 3pm. The hotel is very nice. You need your key to work elevator. Omar & Ivan are the shuttle drivers & are very friendly & full of information. Pool towels can be asked for at reception. Laundry is free to use but you have to book 24 hours in advance. There is a great restaurant within walking on Mexico ave (4 vientos reservation required)"

"The first 2 days we stayed in a terrible condo with no view of the outside, it gave us a very claustrophobic feeling. Luckily we were upgraded to a very nice studio."

"We received a fantastic upgrade to a ocean view balcony. Our room was very clean. Staff in the dinning areas was excellent. You need to be early to get a spot by the pool area, but ample space by the ocean."

"This is a lovely hotel and the staff go above and beyond to make it so. Elisabeth, Oscar, and Raul were particularly outstanding in their attentiveness and kindness, but everyone we encountered was great. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was spacious and comfortable and luxurious. The balcony is more of an enclosed room with a small open window and a little foot pool, but it was fine because we were enjoying the rest of the resort all day. It is closer to the theme park and that will be amazing when it opens, but the transportation system with the gondola, buses, and trams are well designed and so easy to navigate. They need more signage for the Bon hotel on the footpaths, however. The only regret is we didn’t get to stay long enough and enjoy the amazing pool near Bon, as we spent most of our time near the Beachland, the main pools, and lazy river and waterside. Vidanta in general is gorgeous, expansive, and very thoughtfully laid out. We loved it! Gracias!"

"There were a variety of pools and areas for all ages plus a gorgeous beach for walking. Room was small but nicely renovated with lots 8f water pressure fir the shower. Our only concern was having to line up for dinners because they don't have a reservation system. "

"Beautiful room. Beautiful property. Fantastic staff that treated us excellent. Great restaurants until the cartel extended our stay three more nights. And Unico tried to charge me 250% of what I could pay to book it on Expedia. I showed them the rate and they insisted on $1,800 a night. I booked it on Expedia and they accepted the reservation but it was such a slap in the face to shelter in place when every other reservation extended for free. I get they have cost but this was absurd to the point I would never go back. Carlos the concierge was fantastic and really made to stay feel accommodating. So sad that the ownership that you would instruct your staff to act this way in panic and mayhem. Guess you'll enjoy your depleted bookings after the cartel incident and reviews like this."
