「The staircase to our room is winding, and I need to go up and down before arriving at my room. The wall is thin and is not very sound proof, so I can hear what next door's saying and TV noise. It could be disturbing to someone during time for bed. There could be some seepage at the bath tub as there was a pool of water on the toilet floor after my shower, even though there was a glass door to stop water from splashing over to the floor. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. 「We had an amazing Christmas at the Hatchet. Christmas Eve food was great and local musicians provided excellent entertainment which everyone in the pub joned in with. A fantastic atmosphere. The hotel rooms were warm and comfortable. Although we had one minor glich with our room, it was dealt with quickly and professionally. Thank you Gerry. We will certainly be staying at The Hatchet next time we are visiting Wiltshire. 」

「A lovely hotel located about 15 minutes from Stonehenge and 15 minutes from Salisbury town centre. The room was spacious, and the heater worked perfectly—nice and warm. Everything was clean and well maintained. Nora at reception was lively, helpful, and incredibly bubbly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I’m in the area. 」
