The room was spotless and very comfortable. Clean crisp linen.
The breakfast was fantastic and all staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed at the Grosvenor before and will come again. It is by far the best hotel in Stockbridge.
Hotel is lovely .Staff are excellent Room was v clean and bed super comfortable.
Only complaint is that you do have any control over the heat in your room
Our room was pretty chilly the whole time.
We will definitely stay again, this was our first winter stay.
The welcome, the staff, the comfy beds, the garden, the funky decor, everything.

A wonderful venue for a friend's birthday bash. Staff were very attentive and polite. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Also, a really comfy bed too.
Staff could not be more accommodating. Room was amazing. Only slight issue was WiFi signal was not great. Only 2 bar. The staff more than made up for that though! Thank you
We had an Upper Test room facing South over the pretty garden. We loved the thoughtful and elegant decor and the relaxed ambiance. Everything about our stay there was excellent and should we stay in Stockbridge again, it will be at the Grosvenor.
Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too.
Just a couple of things less then perfect - tv is too small and the window stay was broken. We did get a good rate though so no complaints!
Staff are friendly and efficient- breakfast was very good. The breakfast room is also very attractive as are all the public rooms here. We parked at the rear of the hotel and in warmer months, the terrace would be lovely. We would definitely return - but just upgrade the tv please!
Very nice hotel. Probably the top one in the area. Great garden, clean room, nice furniture. Areas to improve: the desk was a little small. The bedroom door was heavy & knob was in a strange location - you may get your fingers trapped if you are closing the door without thinking.
It was lovely. Everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble especially for the dog! Would love to come again in the summer and take advantage of the garden. Thank you very much
We had booked the library for a family lunch during the xmas break with family from USA, London, Manchester and Poole. It was a great meal. 2 of us stayed over in the hotel. We loved the traditional but modern style. It was a great break and a great price through expedia
Very pleasant hotel in the centre of Stockbridge, would think it was once a coaching hotel on the main road through this pleasant small town/village in Hampshire. More recently has undergone major renovations and refurbishment and is a great place to stay. We had a garden room which was very pleasant and quiet away for the road, which wasn’t that busy either. Modern room with everything we needed including a fantastic bed and powerful hot shower, both so important! Public areas very nicely decorated and food offerings excellent, we had an evening meal and breakfast both were very good indeed. Staff were also friendly and attentive and the help we received when booking was first class, overall very good stay.

There are lots of wonderful things about this small hotel. Its very friendly staff, beautifully decorated room (we stayed in a garden room), comfy bed, large modern bathroom with a huge walk in shower, efficient heating, possibility to open a window, comfortable lounge with Sunday papers, small bar and a good restaurant. I also appreciated the free parking at the back of the hotel with easy access to rooms and reception.
My only complaint would be that breakfast, especially at weekends ends way too early at 9:45. This is unusual as most hotels have breakfast at weekends at least until 10:30 or 11 allowing a long sleep on Sunday morning.
Another small issue was a very bright green emergency exit light in the room which at night time lights half the room.
On the whole very relaxing weekend. The hotel also has small shops, cafes and pubs very close .
