"We checked in a little after 5PM after having lunch in the La Placate area. When we checked into our room, cleaning staff was still cleaning. Unfortunately there was a language barrier so we were not able to communicate. I went downstairs and let the receptionist know the floor has not been swept, there was hair in the sheets, on the floor, on the counters. Stains were on the counter and food still in the microwave. He asked the cleaning staff to return, which he never did. After two hours of waiting, he put us in a new room, you can tell someone did a quick clean over that room but still was not up to par and that room only has 1 area that has power outlet working which was by the microwave"

"The room was small, but clean, newly renovated modern style, bed very comfortable, ac good, quiet room. Free parking could be an issue, and too far to walk to the beach, but a nice place and nice part of the city "
