「We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. 「Depuis 2 mois je suis dans les hotels pour notre voyage et franchement c est le meilleur hotel que j ai eu. 「The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...

「Absolutely beautiful property with an amazing restaurant for dinner in the evening. Beautiful pool area and the breakfast was also wonderful! Driveway is a little scary with being narrow and twisty. 」

「This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable.」
