Treat yourself to a stay in this exquisite serene hotel in the stunning Douro Valley. Maria is beyond hospitable. Our dinner at the hotel was great, the breakfast superb. The room and hotel are so beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. I hope to get back again one day.

Authentic run five star family run hotel

The owners make you feel special an authentic run family hotel. The hotel had been recently refurbished and looked beautiful. The view was breathtaking. Nothing was any trouble. Would go back

We had an incredible stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful and perfectly appointed, amazing views, great location. Maria was very friendly and helpful, and gave us a lot of useful information. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer! Definitely would recommend staying at this little hidden gem of a place.

Stunning property in a quiet charming village. We were greeted with a beautiful glass of wine made from their vineyard - after a day of driving it felt like entering a true oasis. The pool was beautiful and so was the scenery it overlooked. Everything was taking care of, from dinner reservations at the restaurant in town one night to an in-house delicious option on our second night. Breakfast was delicious too. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The property was great for us. The hotel is well looked after. Our room was a good size and very nice. The lobby/reception area was very nice. We sat there a couple nights after dinner and enjoyed a nice glass of wine with a few other guests. Also a very nice pool area if you’re there in the warmer weather. Maria was very helpful and booked us a wine tasting and a river cruise. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Casa do Santo was a wonderful little guest house hidden away in the pretty village of Provesende, with fantastic views of the vineyards and mountains beyond. It was quiet and relaxing and the staff were very helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely place!
