「O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena」

「A definite must stay if you are visiting the Duoro Valley. It is a small slice of paradise once you enter the red door. Manuel was so kind and helpful. The wine paired dinner (for a cost) was delicious and very informative. Highly recommend you book here. 」

「Views from this property were breathtaking! Hotel is brand new and immaculate. Staff was friendly bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were on the small side. There is no gym at the facility although there is a lovely spa. Location was great to explore the Quinta’s and vineyards of the Duro Valley. You do need a car or driver as uber is not easy to get. 」

「The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. This was pacified by having two pools to cool off in and...

「It’s located in the mountain side, breakfast with cold cut, eggs and bacon with the valley view. Staffs were nice and helpful. Recommend to all travellers who plan for Douro area.」
