The swimming pool access costs €25 per person. It’s an obvious issue because over our 4 night stay we heard many people complaining to the front desk and it is not clear AT ALL on Expedia. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast is great. The area is fabulous and the city fantastic. It’s a 10, so it’s unfortunate about the pool.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so helpful and gave restaurant recommendations that were delicious. The breakfast was fantastic and there was a nice area in front to have a drink and people watch. The bed was comfortable and the a/c was nice and cold. We used the spa as well and the massages and facials were great! Would highly recommend this!

The room was awesome! I particularly liked the bonus bath salts for the jacuzzi jet tub. The blinds made the room perfectly dark. I found the bed, sheets, and assortment of pillows to be sleeping perfection. The staff were kind and helpful. I was quite comfortable!

Great Hotel but Shame about the additional costs

Booked this hotel as it is near the port where i was joining a cruise ship. The staff were excellent, and the hotel was fabulous. I booked this hotel because of the great amenities advertised, however there was no transparency on additional costs, the Pool and Spa cost €25 for an hour and a half, you can only use one coffee capsule then you have to pay for further ones … not great.

Perfect place in the heart of Vigo. The SPA is really a big plus and the staff are top. The breakfast is a shame for a 5 star hotel. Cofeee from a machine, not real juice and the pastery was dry. If you go outside you will find better breakfast for half the price you will pay at the hotel.

This is a beautiful spa hotel with a fun pool. You must pay to use it ($25/person) even if you get services. We had a facial and a massage, which were both great. The rooms were very nice and had a large whirlpool tub for a relaxing bath. Their automatic blackout shades were great! It was very quiet and dark. We enjoyed a tasting menu dinner in their Michelin restaurant (Asador Las Abetos). We were referred to El Mosquito for a great dinner. We highly recommended a visit to this city if you are in the region.

The area is very nice as it is close to the port and many restaurants. The hotel rooms are not practical - the bathtub is in the middle of the room and so are the sinks - makes using them a problem if you do not want to disturb your roommate - the area where they put the toilet and shower is very small and it is not a luxurious experience. No instructions on how to reach the front desk with room phone. Although I booked a room with twin beds they told me when I checked in that this required an upcharge. Overall not impressed.

We had a few problems during our stay, the shower first of all was very temperamental, flashes of burning hot water and then times where there was no hot water at all, the air con had two settings, off or full blast. We went to use the pool one day and were told that because it was a spa pool it could only be used for 1 hour and it had to be booked. So we booked, went and then on check out had a 50 euro charge on our bill - at no point were we told we would have to pay to use the pool, not when we checked in, not when we booked it, not once. We were told the receptionist would speak to her manager and email us about this issue but it's been a week and we have heard nothing. Don't book it for the pool, it isn't worth it, however the location and bar area is good.

The spa part of this hotel is probably their highlight and in all fairness we did not use the spa services. The hotel is very dated and can’t begin to understand how it is rated as 5 star. Lighting system in room is ridiculous. Sink is in bedroom, shower has a shade for privacy, which is zero. Staff was very friendly and rooms were clean but walk through the front door knowing that everything is an up-charge. Want to use the pool, make an appointment and pay 25 euros to use it for an 1.5 hours. Use more than one coffee pod in your room, yes you are paying extra. Want ice for your room no problem, you will pay12 euros. It should be advertised as a nice hotel, it is. Just not anything close to 5 star.
