「The location nd space was amazing…but it was the stellar staff that get the top notch accolades. They were all so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived to the time we left. And not just doing little things, but things rarely done now. They happened to ask about our plans for the day and when they heard we had a full day travel trip they made us a goodie bag with treats and apples. I found everything about this stay to be wonderful and look forward to a return!」

「Wir waren begeistert und fühlten uns rundum wohl. Alle Fragen wurden von den Mitarbeitenden herzlich beantwortet und man hatte immer das Gefühl, Willkommen zu sein. 「Loved staying at Abbey Strand! Very historic building but with all modern conveniences. Quiet part of Royal Mile away from noise & traffic but easy walk to anywhere. No air conditioning but temps are generally cooler. Definitely recommend a stay when in Edinburgh.」

「Excellent 3 night stay, I will definitely be back. The hotel is perfectly situated. Very close to the tram line to the airport (5min walk) and maybe a 10min to Waverly train station, but it’s also on a very quiet street and very close to the Royal Mile and all the sights. I have nothing negative to say. The room was spacious, the bed and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and the staff was always helpful and friendly. 」

「Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay.
