「While the place is well located and the staff are lovely, this is really a 3 star hotel. It was clean, but some aspects of the room were not “4-star” quality (scuff marks on wall, quality of the bed and sheets, etc). As other reviews have mentioned, you can feel the coils in the mattresses which can be uncomfortable. Having a kitchen + washer/dryer was very helpful for us and a big reason we booked here. Coming from a “true” 4 star aparthotel in London, this property was a little...

「Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...

「We stayed in a 3-bed room for 3 days. The interior is well-designed and chilled. We stayed in a 3-bedroom room for 3 days. The interior is well-designed and has a relaxed atmosphere. The small kitchen and towels were clean, and the cooking utensils were reasonably functional. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, all of which are in good working condition. 「Tigerlily Edinburgh Hotel is beautiful with great service from room maintenance to check in and out to restaurant staff. Could have easily been a 5 star rating. Our room #20 was NOT good, probably would have been a dealbreaker although we lived with its many issues because it was just easier for us to leave it than go through any hassle. Creaking floors (video attached), poor water pressure at the sink (video attached), weird light configuration, poor TV reception, torn curtains (pic attached),...
