「Great place, nice food, nice staff」

「My son and I spent a week here. The staff were top notch. The highlight of the stay was dining at the restaurant everyday. The food was incredible. Although Shrewsbury has many fine places to dine, we found ourselves returning daily to try something new from the menu. 」

「Staff friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and spotless, nice bed slept well. Had evening meal at hotel and it was first class, nice atmosphere in the bar and whilst dining. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.」

「Had a fabulous stay, been many times before when it was Mercure Hotels. Had an issue on the first day, which was quickly resolved. Will stay again, when we are visiting family.」

「A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it...

「The property had amazing gardens. The house itself was a bit dated, not that we minded, but it had everything we needed and the host was so helpful. Lovely breakfasts with home made jam went down a treat」
