「Beautiful place, great spa facilities, friendly staff」

「Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. Cafes, restaurants, pubs close at hand with lots of shopping close to hand. I nipped down a nearby alley each morning to enjoy a great riverside walk to the park and home for breakfast.」

「Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. 「The pub with rooms was wonderful the place was immaculate and the staff and atmosphere excellent. The room was large well appointed with water and coffee/tea crisps etc. The bed was so comfy but could have been bigger. The room was also immaculate although it had a smell of fresh paint. We booked a meal the first night the steak was missing some items and was tough but my wife's chickwn was excellent as was starters and pud. Lovely location lovely pub and staff highly recommend. 」
