The nourishing and tasty homemade breakfasts fueled us every morning for the bounty of activities within an easy walk (historic sites, art museums, and plenty of libations). The host has amassed her own wonderful collection of stories, things, and recommendations which made this a great home base for our excursions to Chaco Canyon (3.75 hrs) and Ojo Caliente mineral springs (1 hr). "The casa itself was interesting and clean, fun to stay in. Breakfast was enjoyable; presentaton was simple. We would make one suggestion: knowing limited huoman resources and water etc., some extra attention to the grounds would go a long ways to a welcoming and hanging-out atmosphere. Oh, one other thing we noticed that could be improved--depending on water pressure--the shower head in the Luminaria room (where we loved the patio door windowsi) provided very small spray,"
